Welcome to WildestPhotos — your window into wildlife, travel, and the stories that connect them.

You made it. Welcome.

If you’ve ever felt more at home in a forest than in a hotel — or waited an hour for the perfect moment a bird lands in the right light, you’re among friends. WildestPhotos is a home for those who feel something stir when we’re out in nature, quietly watching life unfold on its own. This isn’t a checklist site. It’s not about likes or lenses. It’s about slowing down, showing up, and remembering we’re not just visitors in the wild — we’re part of it.

What You’ll Find Here

This site is built around the three things I love most: wildlife, travel, and photography. But more than that — it’s built around doing all of those things with care. You can explore WildestPhotos through these paths:

Explore by Region — Where to find wild animals across continents, from Patagonia to the Pyrenees.
Wildlife Calendar — A month-by-month look at migrations, behaviors, and seasonal rhythms in nature.
Conservation & Ethics — How to travel and photograph wildlife without harm — with empathy and intention.
Photography Tips — Gentle, thoughtful advice for capturing the wild with respect and presence.
Ethical Stays — Lodges and eco-places that honor wildlife — not exploit it.
Wild Encounters — True stories from the field: unexpected, messy, beautiful moments in nature.
My Wild List — Your personal space to dream, plan, and track the wild moments you long to experience.

Where It All Comes Together

Nature moves in rhythm — and so should we. Every season has a different story, and different animals waiting to be noticed. That’s why I created the Seasons section. Because spring isn’t just about flowers — it’s about nesting owls, birthing wildebeest, and the return of golden light to the forest. Every season offers something unique: Winter — Stillness, survival, and the raw honesty of nature. Spring — A burst of life, perfect for newborns and wildflowers. Summer — Peak visibility, underwater adventures, and golden hour magic. Autumn — Behavior, color, and the beginning of movement. Use the Wildlife Calendar and Seasons together to plan trips by behavior, not just by destination.

Stay Somewhere Wild — and Kind

I’m building a collection of places you can stay where animals aren’t fed, trapped, or tricked into showing up. These are real wild places, run by people who care — where the loudest thing you’ll hear is the wind in the trees or the trumpet of an elephant at dawn. You’ll find those in the Ethical Stays section. And if you know a place that should be added, I’d love to hear about it.

Real Moments. Real Wild.

The Wild Encounters section is where I share what I felt, not just what I saw.

The fox that didn’t run. The whale that came too close. The moment the mountains went silent.

These aren’t photo tutorials. They’re windows into something deeper.

If you ever needed a reminder that we’re not alone on this planet — start there.

Conservation & Ethics

I created the Conservation & Ethics section not to lecture — but to share the small ways we can travel better. It covers how to spot greenwashing, when not to book the “once-in-a-lifetime” experience, and simple swaps that help nature breathe. We can’t fix everything, but we can try. WildestPhotos is a growing collection — a living library — of the incredible species we share the planet with. Over time, you’ll find information about where to find them, the seasons they thrive in, and how to photograph them ethically.

You Belong Here

WildestPhotos is still growing — one honest page at a time. But if something here made you pause, breathe, or smile… that’s the wild working its magic. I hope you stick around.
— See you out there.
